Even as 40,000 students are set to get study abroad funding from the government this year, the last-moment wait for Turing funds is stressing them out.

After the suggestion of levying a fee on international students in the Universities Accord interim report, Australian institutions have rejected the proposal. ANNUAL LIST OF FAKE INDIAN UNIVERSITIES RELEASED BY THE UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION (UGC)

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released the annual list of 20 fake universities in India. Since these universities are not authorised to confer degrees, students must avoid falling for these institutions. Most of them are located in Delhi (8) and Uttar Pradesh (4). Before seeking admission to a university, students and parents must verify its legitimacy by checking the UGC recognition status.
