UK Study Visas Witness An Uptick Of 23% As Of June 2023

The UK has granted nearly 500,000 sponsored study visas as of June 2023. The number marks an increase of 23% from the previous year. Notably, Indians account for almost a third of UK study visas issued this year. Statistics suggest that 154,000 sponsored study-related visas were given to students’ dependents. However, master's students will not be allowed to bring dependents from January 2024.

US Gives Record Visas In India, Nigeria, and Ghana In 2023

According to the US State Department, the country has issued more student visas to students from African countries compared to the last six years. In fact, record numbers have been bagged by applicants from India, Nigeria, and Ghana. Earlier, research showed that an estimated 92,051 qualified students from African countries were denied US visas between 2018 and 2022.

Students In Ontario Given A Place In North After Revocation

Several international students whose admission offers were revoked by Pures College of Technology, a Toronto-based college now have fresh offers at Northern College in northeast Ontario. Earlier, these students were told that they could move to nearby Centennial College in Toronto.
