Perseid is an outstanding school for pupils aged 3 €“ 19 with severe and profound learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work You will recieve your Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma, a Diploma in Specailist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools. Functional skills if required Your training will take place remotely with your assessor You will recieve monthing training, attending a session with your assessor monthly. Required Skills & Qualification

Desirable qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 4) Maths (grade 4) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Attention to detail Patience Motivated Friendly and attentive Time Management Skills Other For all posts, a commitment to Perseid children and their complex needs is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team. Your training will take place on site, as a mix of face to face sessions and remote sessions
