Job Description

The Senior Financial Administrator is responsible for handling day-to-day finance-related administration for a portfolio of clients, particularly larger / complex / new clients and will provide support training of Financial Administrators in their team. They are to be a seen as the €˜go to' person for junior Financial Administrators in the business.

Training and Qualification

Work As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you'll do at work Candidates will be required to have complete the Level 3 qualification. so they are able to move onto Level 4 to complete the AAT qualification. Candidates will be required to attend college to complete the AAT qualification. The study will be completed by Kaplan, a leading provider in the UK, and can be done in the classroom or at home, whichever is preferred by the candidate. Required Skills & Qualification

Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade B/5 or above) Maths (grade B/5 or above) AAT Assistant Accounting - Level 3 (grade Pass) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills Communication skills IT skills Attention to detail Organisation skills Customer care skills Problem solving skills Presentation skills Administrative skills Number skills Analytical skills Logical Team working Initiative Paperless office experience Other Should have 2+ years' experience working specifically in a UK accounting practice in an administrative role. Should be experienced in working in a paperless modern practice environment and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Xero, bookkeeping and payroll, with an excellent understanding of financial processes and control.
