ABOUT Chettinad Hospital & Research Institute Kanchipuram

The Medical Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Superspeciality programs are offered through the Faculty of Medicine, Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute (CHRI) CHRI continues to be a preferred destination for aspiring students from across the globe and offers programs at all levels including 1 undergraduate (MBBS), 20 Postgraduate (MD/MS), 7 super speciality (DM/MCh) and 1 Post Graduate Diploma course in clinical embryology. CHRI initially commenced with an approved intake capacity of 150 students for the MBBS course which has been enhanced to 250 seats since 2019 onwards. Dedicated and experienced faculty, student-centric innovative teaching learning methods, excellent infrastructure, state-of-the-art lecture theatres, a well-stocked library, museums, laboratories and skill and virtual labs that provide hands-on experience to the students are some of the highlights of this institution.
