About Computer Associates outsource local compliance

Two years ago the European arm of CA, Inc (formerly Computer Associates) embarked on a large-scale finance transformation program which involved the creation of three shared service centers, in France, Germany and the UK respectively. 'Following the move to a shared services model, CA needed to ensure that they remained compliant with local regulation. So CA opted for a partnership with BDO, the worlds fifth-largest accountancy firm to take over the responsibility for local legislative and fiscal compliance in each of CAs European countries of operation, with BDO staff on the ground taking on work which was previously done in-house at significant cost.
