This challenging online course explores the fundamentals of 3D and stereoscopy and provides an insight into the practical issues involved in delivering 3D to the cinema and the TV viewer. It will suit delegates from a wide variety of backgrounds and no prior knowledge is assumed. The course tackles where we are with 3D today, the fundamentals of how the eye and the brain accommodate three dimensions and the capture, production and delivery issues. It also takes a look at what will impact the take-up of 3D viewing in the future. The course will take about an hour to complete.
